A: Hi Bev. What you're asking is a trademark question. First, let me give you a disclaimer, I'm not a laywer and I recomend that you consult an attorney for any legal advice. With that being said, there are several tools for finding out online whether someone has "trademarked" the tag line or slogan you want to use.
It's easy to start your trademark search at The United States Patent and Trademark office. They provide sample trademark applications, brochures describing the registration process and an online trademark search/lookup facility called the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS).
